North Carolina, the Sixth State to Announce Voter Roll Cleanup!
On September 27th, North Carolina made headlines by confirming the removal of nearly 750,000 ineligible voters since the beginning of 2023. This achievement marks a significant step toward ensuring fair and secure elections, with an average of 1,200 voter records removed daily over a 20-month process. These removals include 290,000 duplicate registrations, 31,000 out-of-state movers, and 131,000 deceased individuals, preventing the potential for illegal votes in future elections.
According to polls, at least 73,000 fraudulent votes would likely have been cast and counted. Up to 980 non-citizens were also removed, which could have been the deciding vote in some voting precincts.
This push for voter roll maintenance comes amid heightened scrutiny by 2.7 million actions by Act for America members!
North Carolina now joins the ranks of five other states—Alabama, Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Virginia—that have committed to cleaning up their voter rolls. But this success is just the beginning. As voter roll maintenance intensifies nationwide, Act for America urges vigilance. With over 39 million fraudulent ballots cast in past elections, this effort must press on to safeguard the integrity of our election process.
Clean voter rolls are the foundation of election integrity, cutting off the potential for large-scale fraud. By ensuring only eligible voters remain on the rolls, we eliminate vulnerabilities, like duplicate registrations or non-citizen entries, that could be exploited for illegal voting. Whether through non-profits registering ineligible individuals or someone tempted to vote multiple times, cleaning the rolls reduces these risks and secures our election process.
